Ok then, I've fond some clues:
The "figure" next to the track is what puts the consists on that track. The directory in-game leads to the consist xml. So now I'll just go follow the xml and get back with more...

I like that it adds to a consist, because you don't see 7 BNSF ES44s on one train. But it's a little strange when you have modern stuff and have stuff from the 70s.
