Another great update. Thanks for taking the time to keep us up to date with what is happening.
The 'steam beneath the Red Star" takes me back to the early / mid 90's and the newly opened iron curtain and some great tours in Romania / Ukraine / Bulgaria photographing the preserved and strategic reserve locoa.

This is an amazing project..

What would be the railroad and area in USA where those S160 were used?

Thanks Buzz. I am aware of the S160 history. But the articles doesn´t seem to have any answer to my question.
Considering what is in the article, it would seem that during the war they were all over the country, administered only by the armed forces. But not specific railroads acquired it or were deployed in specific areas.

I know one place they will get a run, proto or not - after more that 4 years bubbling along on the stove, the VNHRR must be just about cooked. The last but one blog post mentioned complete re-signalling, which I am sure will be a good thing. Still havent heard how they plan on selling this loco set - European and US, or one humongous all encompassing release. Not sure there will be too many that will want or use all variants.

Looking forward to seeing the US liveries. I am a great fan of the regular updates !!*ok*!!

**!!bow!!** !*drool*!

Is it possible, he asks almost pleadingly, to have a fully features set without a road name attached? As it stands, for historic US routes, there is really only the VNHRR (New Haven), Horseshoe Curve (Pennsy) and the RWA created route RWA and its clones. There is just not the variety of routes as there are for the UK enthusiasts (unfortunately). It might not be proto, but it would be some more steam variety

Just a thought...

It is possible. Have a look at the second US livery next week and then we'll chat about other options if that's cool.

At the time this is released, what routes will the bundled scenarios use? (If answered post a link to the respective post)

There will be scenarios for 2 routes, a UK and a USA route - I'd love to do a European one as well but I don't think there are any even vaguely close to suitable.
Obviously I have a lot of experience with UK routes. For the USA route - I'd love the advice of this forum please. What route would be most suitable? What kind of scenarios would you enjoy?
