I hope it'll be an AC-9! Hopefully it will be DM&IR with a period route!

I place my bet on PRR stuff.

I would just be happy (or happier *!!wink!!* ) if they released the promised "all new sound set" for the re-released Big Boys that never eventuated, and of course a re-aged SH to run it with the GETL's Will be interesting to see what they come up with. Even some era apropriate scenery items / people. When did you last see a hostler in the 1950's with a hi-viz vest on. Bletch!! (I think that si how Calvin spells it *!lol!* )

**!!2cents!!**

!*cheers*!

It'll probably be UP or PRR. A loco I'd love to see, considering the whirlwind fundraising campaign around its restoration, is Maine Central 470 for the Portland Terminal Route but by now I seriously doubt we'll be seeing any new content for that old one. Maybe a smaller steamer like a 4-6-0, that would be something new!

Can we please not start posting our wish list for everything steam and wait to see what they are talking about. Obviously they already have something in the pipeline so a whole bunch of 'please make this' or worse 'if you don't make this' won't do anything.

We're just placing bets not demanding an engine !!bang!!

I'm getting some popcorn for this thread. *!rolleyes!*

If I had to speculate I'd bet it is something PRR. Probably a T1, I1sa, Q2, or J1a

I'm placing my bets on a N&W J Class. Calling it right now.

So is mine.

Are licenses required? 611 is NS property, and DTG already has a NS license, so 611 seems covered.

What about ATSF 2926 for instance, almost ready to run at http://www.nmslrhs.org. If someone was to built and sell a model of this or any other preserved locomotive in private possession? BNSF is no party in this case?

H8, like in C&O Allegheny?

No, I don't think so, however desireable the prospect is.

I think the loco should fit an existing route, or come with its own route. And when was the last time that happened?

Well what other locos would seem "extreme"?

Nope, N&W 611 is solely owned by VMT. NS has nothing to do with the engine. They would likely need a new license to make a J with the number 611 if VMT gets their way and the US Patent Office awards them a Trademark for 611.
