Its a little quiet because I never got to tweak files before it went to DTG, but if I'm tooting my own horn, the sounds are recorded from a load cell at the Cummins Onan plant in the cities of the real QSK engine and programmed to run as close as possible to how the real locomotives operate.

Can you put the fixes for the sounds here on RWA? :D

What are you guys talking about? I want someone to tell us what they think about this release. Not some inside baseball analysis of something none of us even know about.

Reviews I've seen highlight two issues:
1) sounds are a bit quiet
2) numberboards are missing above the windshield (This one, I want confirmation on, since they appear in the various screenshots and that's just weird)

Reviews on Amazon.com clearly indicate whether or not the reviewer has actually purchased the item being reviewed. A feature like that would certainly be interesting to have here, wouldn't it? Impossible, I'm sure, but worthwhile nevertheless.

The sounds are a bit quiet. And the number boards light up, using the 'G' key (Which is odd since that usually defaults to switch throw) but when lit up there are no numbers in them. It basically looks like an illuminated white strip. No numbers in them when dark either. Overall, its not bad. I've ran it for a couple hours now and no real complaints. I haven't done any of the scenarios that came with it, I haven't had time to do them yet. I'd say a 7 out of 10. The sounds are good, although quiet, the model itself looks nice, the cab view looks good, if I have one complaint it would be that the seat backs are so high you cannot see behind you, and the only way to look backwards is with the head out view. Seeing how everything put out is $20.00 this isn't a bad spend.

Impossible? Yes since we don't sell the product so we would have no idea if anyone actually bought the product.

Well as far as I can tell DTG finally got one right. I just purchaced this and I think DTG did a good job. They even got the horn right for a change! I compared it to a you tube video (since I was about to make one but they got it right so I don't have to) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FG2gexR5cg
They look great. Now onto the engine sounds.

Only a few goofs in the CSX paint and details, but looks pretty close otherwise.
Cheers!
