see u say once i get the install goin... when i goto install it doesnt "install" anything. there is no bar that goes across or nuttin..after i hit open to the file..i gotta hit cancel...then the bar goes across . .

im not just httin cancel right away..i hit the install button on the file..it opens it and then thats it..nothing else happens..what do i exactly have to press install on to make it install?..cause once i hit install the folders come up and i can only press open and cancel... and theres nothing inside the folder that says install or nuttin

ok i found the RWP file in the Ultimate NEC reskin Collection folder..i hit install..and it actually installed it and it shows in the "select package" area and comes up as early mornign co. but when i go into the NJ Transit Bombardier Comet Cars folder there is no RWP folder for me to install.. an the game still did not work with just the one item installed :/ all the folders inside the NJ Transit folder are all EMPTY... so i looked through the folder without usin the package manager and there is no RWP file even in there... so is there a way i can just extract it in a certain folder myself to make it work?

Unzip the rwp with 7-zip and then you can manually install all the contents.

yea i can get into the rwp file just dont kno where to install any of it too..

There is no rwp file for this repaint.
The actual name for this repaint is "NJ Transit Bombardier Comet Cab Cars"
It helps when you specify exact information in your posts.

The file to download from the library is a zip file, not a rwp.
Open the zip file, and read the readme.docx. It is rather terse:

Paste the last 2 folders here
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\RailWorks\Assets\RSC\P32Pack01\RailVehicles\Passengers\Shoreliner
Copy the Geo file from the DrivingTrailer\Engine folder to the NJT\Engine Folders
For sounds paste them into the Shoreliner audio folder and edit the Proxyxml and write the names of the sound files where they belong.

It is very strange that a Workshop item requires a 3rd-party add-on that is not available on Steam.
This is not supposed to be permitted.
Also, this isn't mention anywhere, I could only see this requirement by editing the scenario in RW-Tools.
Where did you see that "it says to download it from here"?

i read and followed the readme already but guessin i did it wrong cause it still didnt work afterwards..as u can see im not very good at this stuff so.. it says to paste the last 2 folders here.. which 2 are they talkin about?.. im pretty sure i had did the right ones though.. and im also pretty sure i got the right geo file from the correct folder..

^^ There are a lot of UK Scenarios that utilize 3rd party repaints of rolling stock on Steam. The model is sold on Steam but the reskins are free downloads.
