That Chessie never got to South Florida not that you couldn't run it there since I'm sure that it took a long time for all the locomotives to get painted in the CSX livery.

Not to ruin the party, but I dont think that there was a Chessie System railroad in Florida, I think a better one to use there would be Seaboard Coast Line.

You got it! I remember hanging around the WPB station on Friday nights when I was a kid watching the lash-ups of SCL U-Boats chugging through pulling long slooow fright trains. I loved hearing the trains crossing the long since gone diamond at the north end of the yard where the FEC spur track crossed the SCL and went into the WPB water treatment plant. At the south end of the yard there was a classic vintage SAL block signal complete with a deep blue lighted doll arm. Great memories from a bygone era of Americana! :D

Here's some vintage SCL U-Boat action at Sanford, FL. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUUQFp9EQMw

Now I just thought about this. With this route there 2 tracks. One for FEC and one for CSX. Not sure which side will be when it's released.

I'm going to guess it will be CSX, and that's because it has Tri-rail in this route, and I don't think Tri-rail runs on the Florida east coast.

Definitely at least the CSX tracks, given their screenshots are from that route. It's possible they will include the FEC, but it is unlikely. And Tri-Rail has plans to expand to the FEC, as well as the proposed All-Aboard Florida high speed line to Orlando and Tampa.

Actually if I'm correct that is a D8-40CW.

Well CSX 7694 is a C40-8W. Good to see they are doing the older YN2 scheme.

This may not be a good thing. They better include passenger equipment with the route and not make it DLC. That defeats the purpose of having all the stations. Seeing this makes me think they will only include the CSX equipment. We'll see I suppose.

I love that paint scheme, but I have mixed feelings on the unit. Assuming the Dash 8 widecab was made by DTG, and not a partner, I'm a little dissapointed that they would make a 'new' unit, that is already represented in the game (EYEIN12's). There are tons of other loco series that still need addressing, like any of the GE -7 series, or GE Universal series. Just my $0.02
