2. Dash-9 addon (payware)
3. SD70 addons (payware)
4. all of the stuff from Goden Age (both freeware and payware)
5. the shay steam loco's from Britkits (payware)

I also recommend to buy one of Rich G.'s routes as some freeware routes require some of the Assets, for example the Bay of Quinte route.
I would buy Fort Kent to Eagle Lake.

Besides what has already been mentioned, I'd recommend these as well:

Rich G.'s Colton & Northern (Payware)
APH Lighting Enhancement Pack (Payware and I know I already mentioned it, but it's just that good)
Soo Line route (Freeware for the route, Donationware for the assets)
RW Tools (Donationware)
P&LE Route (Freeware)

And here's a few other sites I forgot to mention:

http://www.allaboardrails.com/ - Here's where you'll find all of Rich Garber's routes.
http://www.pikesproducts.com/14201.html - Free repaints for the Dash 9 and a payware pack that adds flashing ditch lights to them as well.
http://www.rstools.info/rw_tools.html - An absolute MUST HAVE, RW Tools is an awesome program that allows you to edit many different aspects of the game. A one time donation is all that is required.
http://www.sporbust.com/RS--Downloads.php - More free locomotive and rolling stock repaints.
http://alleghany.weebly.com/the-download.html - The home or Tori's WIP C&O Allegheny route.

I have just uploaded an update for the GEVO Sound Pack. It fixes the Horn so it can be heard much farther, and also the engine sounds transition better. Also included is an update for the CN ES44DC from RSC. Should up sometime soon.

Just go into the cab folder and then the "Dash9 Horn" proxyxml file, and find the files ("cDeltaString">RSC\Dash9Pack01\Audio\RailVehicles\Diesel\Dash9\Cab\T_Dash9_HW_HornLoop.dav</Filename> for example) and change the .dav to .wav. And that's it!

Update: I am currently working on a new update for the ES44 GEVO pack. For this update, I want to try and find out how to make traction motor sounds, and implement new dynamic brake sounds.

I have actually abandoned the dynamic brakes, as creating to match up perfectly with the timing of the dash 9 dynamics is ridiculously hard.

Thanks for the compliment! Version 1.3 will be uploaded tomorrow, and will probably be available on the 9th. I think it's strange that I'm already into the nitty gritty stuff at the age I'm at. Most people who release content for Railworks are at least 10 years older than I.
