IMHO RW Train Simulator id a WIP. It will remain as such until the owners decide to completely rewrite the program or continue to do piecemeal updates as they have been doing since the 2012 version. Everyone has their own opinions of what should be fixed and what needs to be accomplished, but those that have made the investments of time and money will continue to make the decisions and it is our choice to take it or leave it.

I signed.

I have my doubts this will change anything but I have for the most part stopped buying things right away. The F45 I waited until it was 50% off and I am glad I did as it has lots of flaws imo. I haven't bothered with the SD80, GP50, or the Dash8 and from what I am seeing it was the right decision as people don't seem to be too happy with them. Perhaps again if they are cheap I will grab them some day.

It also doesn't help my perspective on DTG when others keep producing great content such as the RW&A and the Virtual New Haven. Those routes set the bar high and deliver lots of bang for the $. The DLC from DTG is inferior in comparison.

I spend too much money on this stuff anyways. **!!2cents!!**

I have to say that I am watching the Trainz - a new era. I have to say it looks enticing and even if we don't switch over it will hopefully provide some solid competition for DTG and perhaps that will make them step up their game.

I'm all for DTG re-evaluating its methods of product testing and production before release. The stuff DTG comes out with isn't THAT terrible and I don't think that they're setting out to produce inferior products but there are some things that are wrong that should have been fixed before their release. I don't know if some of these issues are because it was something that was honestly missed during production or if it was like some other companies who simply rushed things out to market because of deadlines. Either way it boils down to 1) being more thorough in development and testing and 2)taking (and giving themselves) enough time to do it right.
If what you've done is stupid but it works, then it really isn't that stupid at all.

I also think the locomotives are over powered since you can go up a steep grade without going in notch 8 even with a long train. I also feel bothered by the grade crossing signals it may not be that much of a big problem but I think they need to fix the problem with them going up midway through a long train and the activation distance is too far on slow routes and the lights flash too fast and the gates close too quickly.

Excuse me , what does this have to do with a petition?

If only FanRailer can provide the physics to DTG.

^ I remember reading somewhere an SD40-2 is overpowered compared to an ES44AC.
