Prepares cash for purchase. Finally an all around switch engine for small switching/shortline routes and various schemes and variations.

I would like to see some of the smaller short lines like the Union Railroad out of Pittsburgh Pa. Union RR really puts the SW1500/MP15DC to work like no other railroad does, 5 multi unit pulling large consists of HOT steel slabs and large consists of coke to the blast furnaces of the United States Steel Edgar Thompson and Mon-Valley Works.I know that these are MP15DC's however very close.

I'm sure there are going to be repaints galore from this pack. The list of railroads who ran, and now run SW1500's runs deep.

Southern Railway. !!*ok*!!
Just heard of that company for the first time. *!greengrin!*
But a nice decision, we can run it on Jerry's Atlanta North route because Chattanooga's DeButts Yard had been a major yard for the Southern (I think it is DeButts Yard which is featured in the route?).

Debutts was built back when Southern was still the Landlord, so SRR cars and locos would be right at home.

A couple of years back, I took a photo of an SW1200 deadheading from Debutts to Inman that was still in Southern black, white, and gold livery, though it was badly faded. So, it would not be a far stretch to have both the old SRR and the NS livery running together.
