Quick survey: is the CP Mountain passes route worth it at 20$ (50%)?
There was a brief interest when it was published but it seems to have fallen into obscurity.
There are only 19 scenarios for it in the workshop.

I'd say get it. Whatever faults there is on the route, makes up for it with the Locomotive and Freight Cars you get with it. **!!2cents!!**

The new braking physics make it the most challenging route to drive by far. I like it because of that. Its mostly mainline running, so if switching is your thing then pass on it.

Perhaps that is the main reason why there are few scenarios in the workshop.

Anybody know how the A1 Tornado is? Been thinking about picking it up for a while but I'm unable to find much information on it.

I've been thinking about getting it too. It looks pretty good from screen shots and people from the UK seem to like it. For the price I'd say why not.

It's a nice locomotive to drive, not too complicated, but does take a little getting used to. Like any steam loco. Cab isn't as animated as some of the newer steam loco's. Detail is pretty good for a 2012 model. For $8, go for it. !!*ok*!!

Tempted by the CP route - though in theory Stevens Pass is above it in my list of routes to get, I have fond memories of travelling across their in 1986 when VIA still went that way. For all its (alleged) flaws would be nice to relive the experience and drive across it. (In the absence of being able to afford the megabucks to travel on the Rocky Mountaineer).

Stevens Pass has a lot more activity capability however they are both very scenic.

I'll pass unless it is offered at 75%.
Nowadays I can only spend maybe 2 hours a week on games anyway.
Also there are so many nice recent routes that I still have to explore.
