I can see the scaleing is alittle off but that is the best I can get it the mapping is not easy for someone with my skill level. Also I can't seem to find where to change the headcode numbers !*don-know!* If anyone can tell me the name of the files I need to look for I would be grateful.

Don't let nit pickers bother you. Ya gotta learn as you go. The file to change the numbers is a file that ends in .dcsv. I think you can open it by just clicking on it or you can D/L a simple little freebi called ConTEXT so open the file for editing. If you need more help holler.

I know there a couple of minor things but I'm happy with it. I thought it was the dcsv file so afher Buzz confirmed it I had a play around and got the numbers to show.

Ok this is about as far as my skill level can take this. If there are any skilled repainters out there that want to improve it before it gets released just give me a PM. Areas I know that might do with improvement are the NS Logo and the headboards. Just to add this is my first try at a GP38.

Resized the NS logo so I hope it's better now. Also still need to try and get the headboard numbers sorted not having much luck with these.

Merlin,
I assume this is the RSC GP38 correct? First thing to know is that when you change the number it will not change with a simple reboot because the engine number is remembered in whatever scenario you have it in game. Just another tricky thing to make us nuts. Therefore after you change the configuration you have to uninstall the loco, restart the game and then re-install it. Then the numbers change. If that doesn't work yell and we'll go through any other steps you may have to make.

These have been sent to Bob now. Please note I could not get the font on the headcode to change but the correct numbers are showing. So if anyone feels like doing a patch for that I'm sure we would all be grateful.

The Font as you can see here on 4632 we have two different types. And they are not what I wanted it to use.

Go find my IC GP38-2 and try that set of numbers. See if that works. Or XDriver did a NS GP38-2. Those numbers might work for you also.

I think I've found the problem it was a line in the bin file. So I'll send a new version to Bob tomorrow with the headcodes fixed if this was the problem. And thanks for your help Buzz trying to solve this.
