Numbers & Drumhead Installation on C&O Green

Unread postby railduffer » Fri Feb 14, 2014 11:11 am

I am running 2014. I am very interested in the C&O. I got BritKits Green Heavy Weight Cars, and the roadname and drumhead from RWA (Buzz456). I have installed the Britkits and the Green Heavy weight package using the installation file.
I am new to repainting, and don't understand it. I do not understand the instructions for applying these Logos. For instance I cannot find the file 01-hw-bg-RW3.GeoPcDx, and don't understand "ce, ch, dn, and ob.GeoPcDx.
I brought up the model using Scenario Editor (I could not find the car in the World Editor). Numbering is different than my model in that I show (1111xxxx11111 rather than xxxhxxxxgx111Shown in the readme file instructions).
Please help.

I am at work not at home right now but have you changed the numbers in the right flyout to what I spaec'ed? You highlight the car by double clicking on it until the right top flyout pops part way out and then change the numbers there. If that doesn't make any sense or doesn't work post back and we'll get this figured out. It's kinda confusing until you've done it a few times.

Thank you for answering my message. You must understand you are dealing with a real dummy.
Given the new xxxx1111xxxx that is shown when I double click on the car, changing the last three x's changes the number. Then when I save it and bring it backup the number is gone. You said this should be done in World Editor. I can't find how to do it unless I go to Scenario Editor.
I have no idea how to put the Drumheads in. If they go in the Wagon folder, I don't know where. I tried to put them in the number, but it came up with Dick Cowen's logos and very small.
Thank you again.

The yellow and blue car is xxxxhxxxgxx22. the green one on my rig is xxxxhxxxgx111. Car numbers are 22 and 111 respectively. The drum head texture just goes into the texture folder for the cars.
