I would love to see the Rocky Mountineer as a future add on for this route.

But Banff isn't a division point on the CP, Calgary is, though. The only trains that stop there are trains that are put into the siding and the Rocky Mountaineer. I'd like to run some old 1980's VIA equipment on the route! Let's have some FP9s and F40s, shall we?![]()
I've had a DVD on the Kicking Horse Pass region primarily featuring the VIA Canadian in the winter of 1987, since I was four years old! I've never been anywhere near the region, but watching that movie for so long has made this route a part of my early childhood!

Weird, I have a tape somewhere that I would always watch when I was young, maybe around 7 years old, that I would watch when my parents wanted to keep me busy. Anyways it followed the VIA Canadian, I can't remember where to where but all I remember is that it was made for kids and the same people did something on the space shuttle too I think. I wouldn't be able to find it if I tried.Small world.
