Santa's elves have been pretty BUS(Y)... as Michael stated.

Beautiful!
The 1950s is one of my favorite periods.
Can't wait to drive on this route.
I do hope there'll be plenty of scenarios written for it.

Thanx... it was a bit of a challenge to get 'em down to a poly count that the sim could handle.
The main body dropped about 27,000 faces, but I still managed to keep 'em looking fairly 'round-ish'.

I spotted one of them on a bridge I was driving under recently. They look even better in motion. Many of the road vehicles included in TS look tacky, at best; you've really upped the graphics ante with these buses.

Tom,

Speaking of '...driving under the bridge'. Here's an 'in Sim' shot taken at the Thompsonville station.

FWIW it wouldn't need to be prototypical, as such: in addition to fantrips with it's own power, the New Haven hosted trips using "foreign road" power, as well. One of these was a Central Vermont 4-6-0, ant the other was a low-drivered 2-8-0 that originally came from the Birmingham & Southeastern, a logging railroad in Alabama. The latter made several trips on some of the New Haven's secondary lines under the sponsorship of the Connecticut Valley chapter of the NRHS.

Also FWIW, the USRA Light Mikado is very similar in outline and overall dimensions to the New Haven's slightly-earlier J-2 class. If it were possible to swap out the cab and the pilot, it could be a very convincing substitute indeed.
