I know I'm being a pain, however not to be found. Route runs great but I missing the first bridge as you go out of town. I assume it's in that pack.

Great work. Screen shots coming up in a bit.

The Lippai bridges and warehouses are in the models files here at RWA. I think the scrapheap files are at Train-Sim.com.

Look for the NRD Commercial Warehouse 5 Pack and the Trestle Pack.

I went back to work on the city area, and am putting in Scaleroads™ to replace the default stuff. I also added a container crane and made some changes in the Industrial park to increase the traffic. SAD scenery is going in and it looks really nice. SMMDigital searchlight signals are now installed as UP used them until recently.

Once the 'front' is upgraded, I'll head back up canyon and finish as I go. I got Dick Cowen's Shay package (all of it!) and am planning to go up the canyon behind the Dee lumber mill (looks like two or three switchbacks!) and onto the top. That way we can bring down wood for the mill, and set out log cars to go to Odell.

I'll get some screens soon.

Have completed the Industrial area updates (until my OCD kicks in again) and have updated the task list to match.

Revised the station area and have done lots of scenery updates as I'm going, newer tools and brushes.

Replacement textures are done, and work Is continuing. What's more, I'm saving backups far more often. I think that I'll finish to MP 8 in Odell, then skip on to the sawmill/logging area and finish that. Then, another release as BETA 0.02, probably about the end of February.

I'll get some current screens posted sometime tomorrow.

In the next several days, I plan to release a Beta 0.02 version of the Hood River RR. The scenery is finished up the line to the Neal Creek sawmill, and the North end of Odell, OR. The track is all in place and road crossings are complete to Parkdale, OR. The Dee sawmill is done. The old wye leading to the logging branch at Dee, the engine shed for the Shays, and the oil and water tanks are still there, but the track up the hill is torn up. I've added about 4 miles of UP mainline along the river for scenario writers to use.

I plan to complete the line, but am going to wait for the program update, as it's getting way too laggy with all the trees. Procedural trees will resolve most of that, and make it far easier to complete. If anyone wishes to continue, please by all means contact me and we'll work something out.

In the meantime, I plan to start laying rail for the 'Lewis and Clark' railroad that was and is based in Clark County, WA where I live. Lots of history and some nice scenic running.

Good news! This round I plan to take time to install and take a look. If plans go well, I'll be living out there in about a year.

Don't blame you one bit for holding out for the new trees; I think several of us are doing the same thing. Time is better spent on other tasks in the meantime. I am limiting my vegetation work to the first 20 meters out from the track for now.

Found another "missing file" lstone_hopper.bin . I looked like it should have been a Kuju\RailSimulator file, but I looked all over my Railworks and old EA Railsimulator fiels and couldn't find it.

Did a google web search, and it looks like it may be in limeld10.zip at trainsSim.com. I have just downloaded it, and looking at it seems that it needs to have RailSimulator installed then you have to use RW_tools to move the assets???

Maybe I'll just try to copy the missing bin file, and see what happens...

Well that didn't work. I ended up doing the install to RS, then copying the files to RW2. They all show up, but for some reason the "missing" file was still missing in the free roam scenario. SIGH... I finally just used RW_tools and edited the asset.

After running the SW1500 all over to go sightseeing, all I can say is very NICE! I only have one suggestion, and since I'm new to RW it may be non-functional, I got all the way up to Parkdale, and I can see the lava flow, but I can't see Mt. Hood! Is it possible to add it in, so it shows up?

They only possible way to do that would be to create a file for ReDem so that it thinks the RR goes through the mountain... It should show up as a white shadow in the near distance. Parkdale and the Lava Flow actually sit on the foot of Mt. Hood. I'll try that, and if it works, it would make the whole package a bit more realistic.

I tried to ReDem the mountain in... it drew OK, but the draw distance limits made it not visible from Parkdale. You'd have to fly for 5 or so miles to even see it... !*don-know!*

Going to pack up the current version and upload it in the next few days, Lots more done, and more of the UP main to play with. EDIT: Uploaded 3/15/2011 at 11:50PM PDT

I am trying to determinet what "Community Project Platform" is at Steam. If I do a search, it doesn't show up, at least for me *!question!* So I need a little bit of help here. What is the actual name of the DLC? I already have Fort Kent Route.

Thanks,
