You too Dick, and thanks for all your hard work

Looks fantastic, a wonderful creation. Something to look forward to in the New Year, which depressingly enough is just over a week away. Where has 10 gone!!

Cheers from Down Under, where it is not snow covering the ground, but locusts !*not-ok*!

Absolutely lovely creation there!

Is this a WIP? Checking the Britkits site I'm not seeing anything on it; at the risk of sounding like the dunderhead noob I am, am I overlooking anything?

I'm only a few days into RW2, but I applaud the efforts you and other fans have made in expanding its scope.

I just installed the basic RS-3 and popped it into a cloned scenario to play with it a bit. As an ALCO fan for years it's great to see it come to life.

I'll certainly be purchasing some of the premium packs in short order, seeing the L&N Mike in the video has me slavering to get my grubby mitts on it and the Shay!

Happy new year!

Sorry guys they are still WIP. I am working on the engine LUA files, whistle sounds and some fancy animations like sparks coming from the stack when the fire doors are open. *!lol!*

I hope to get it out early in the new year, but I have been invaded by teenage grandchildren who are monopolising my computer power!!!! !*hp*!

Dick...

Looking forward to their release whenever.

Re the log cars and mini caboose as seen in the screenies - are these something new or are they an existing release from another developer?? Cant have a Shay and nothing behind it :)

!*cheers*! from Down Under, where it will be a pleasant 40 degrees today and 43 tomorrow (and that is C) !*not-ok*!

The log cars, and other rolling stock will be part of the release. As you say "You can't have a Shay without anything for it to pull"!!!!

Enjoyed the video. Nice editing work, btw!

After that, I had to have a taste of the real thing... found this video I call "Talking Shays"... some engineers at Cass showing off their whistle-blowing skills....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbsbcZKC ... re=related

After listening to this I thought some of you might enjoy it, too. I never knew until I watched this that they "Man" the handbrakes to control the wagons on those steep downgrades (up to 9%).

Hi Phill,
In true cinomatic tradition it was filmed in various locations on Rich Garbers Colton and Northern and Ohio Steel routes. *!lol!*

Do these locomotives and rolling stock show up in any specific routes, or will I have to use the editor or RW Tools? I've not delved into any kind of editing yet, just a driver. !**duh*!!
