I still have to figure out how to make it shine, but I'm making decent progress though, now I can also make the windows see through.

I tried and no shine. First the program didn't export the XML file I needed and then it corrupted that paint of the car, luckily I have more paints of it but I'm not going to corrupt anymore until I can get a better working computer. So until I can get a better computer I won't be trying anymore to get the cars to shine correctly with an alpha, the alpha keeps crashing 3D Crafter as well.

Updated one of the cars this morning, added door handles and license plate. Also I'll be doing the same for the rest of the cars for this new set until all have door handles and license plates.

Why didn't you just paint the door handles?

I would have a ton of trouble trying to paint it into the texture and make it look real, and then I would have to do that over and over just to make different versions. I find it better just to make a basic door handle.

And another detail, I don't have a real good program that allows me to paint a high detail part onto a texture, Windows Paint defiantly can't make anything that really looks very realistic other then cutting and pasting another image onto the texture, which doesn't always work for me.

Do you know of a better free paint program that could do this, or how would I go about doing this in Jasp Paintshop Pro.

Use the layers feature in PSP. There's tons of info in the help files and tutorials on YouTube, or if you prefer, you can use GIMP. :D

I thought you had CS2? It is easy to add layers in Photoshop (which also has many tutorials out there).

I have CS2 and Jask Paintshop Pro.

I actually know how to use Paintshop more, but for just editing the color of something. In paintshop I can easily change the color to something else. Such as I changed a blue texture I had to the tan texture I put on one of my car model's.

So, what do you think of it so far, so far this has been extremely difficult to build.

Finally got the first version of the beast finished and in the sim, I think it came out great, even know it was extremely difficult to shape. Here's what a 1960 Chevrolet Impala/ Bel Air looks like in the sim.

This body style really only lasted for two years, 1959 and 1960, this is the 1960 version.

So, what do you think of it so far, some more versions of it to come real soon.

...Cheers...

One last version of the car for tonight.

The 1960 Chevrolet Impala/ Bel Air came with a 348 cubic inch engine.
