What is the RWA File Library?
The RWA File Library is a simple and free publishing service offered by Railworks America to authors of free content for DTG's Train Simulator Classic, e.g. routes, scenarios, models, repaints, sounds, etc.
The Library creates a win-win situation. The RWA community gets to enjoy thousands of quality freeware products, and the authors, generally community members themselves, get easy, free hosting for their products, visibility and recognition for their work.
The Library is curated, each item is inspected before publication. It enjoys an enviable reputation in the TS community world-wide.
As of March 2023 the use of the RWA Library is free to all, unlimited and does not require registration. Donations to RWA will help to keep it this way. If you appreciate our services, please donate. You can also purchase our donationware products.
How to use the RWA Library
You get to the library by following the link at the top of every page in the RWA forums, or by linking directly to its home page.
The Library is categorized, searchable and browsable. It provides information helping to find desired items: category, title, author, description, pictures.
On the right side of each page is an abbreviated list or recent additions.
By hovering your mouse pointer over an item, you can see additional information about the item, such as its author and a short description.
Selecting an item allows you to see the item's library page, with pictures, full description and instructions. It also presents the link(s) for downloading the item's file(s). To download the file, click on the blue "Download" button and accept the license agreement. The drop-down list near the button lets you download additional files if there are any.
