The SD60 proved to be more reliable and more fuel efficient than the SD50, and several variants were produced with different features, including the SD60F (built for Canadian Pacific), SD60I (alternative interior cab), SD60MAC (featuring alternating current traction motors) and the SD60E (a custom rebuild for Norfolk Southern).

To the untrained ear, they sound the same. But in reality, they have two different turbo chargers, and have different idle speeds, as well as the main caveat, the 70 has EFI, while the 60 has a Woodward Governor and fuel rack.

The ones on the SD70 are offensively bad as well.

Honestly, If it's a decent model I could care less if it has decent sounds or not!

I can hopefully replace the sounds for free. (Not nearly half the price of the engine at $8.14......... I'm looking at you Oovee!)

But I digress.

Don't have the money for it? Don't buy it. Not our problem. We've had plenty of good reviews for the set, which, by the way, doesn't replace sounds for just one specific pack.

!*lho*!

I'm just saying. If I want realistic sounds, Either RSC (Screw the name Dovetail) needs to provide at release or somebody needs to be generous in this Greed filled world.

As it seems you can literally make a profit of anything nowadays.

Just remember people, anybody can put anything out there in the marketplace. Activity then determines value. As I have said repeatedly on this forum, no one forces anyone to buy stuff for RW. Each decision is made by each person.
