Yes I can confirm that the core F7 sounds were used in that movie.
The new sounds were added towards the end of last week, so not in time for the movie.
But then thats the way we work, we add the most suitable sounds to an engine early on so that we get an idea of what it will be like.
Then when we get the appropriate sound work we replace them.
Depending on when we get the sounds depends on when they get replaced.
Most of the time well in advance, however every now and again it goes to the wire, and then on very rare occassions we change them after release.

On our list of things to get better at.

regards

Derek

That's perfectly ok.....you take your time, do the thing right the first time, then you don't have to re-do it later or add patches (are you listening Microsoft???!!)

Quality seems to be your biggest commodity! !*salute*!

They can't hear you. They're deaf in one ear and can't hear out of the other. !*roll-laugh*!

Glad to hear it's going to have it's own set of new sounds. Thanks for clearing that up Derek.

Yes, it comes with a switching yard based on a Chicago yard. I think it'll be very fictional, only the tracks based on this ominous Chicago yard.
But a nice feature, so one can try all the different versions.

Just curious if anyone has had a look at the fonts I posted a link to in this post? viewtopic.php?p=19045#p19045
Are they worth anything to developers? If so I can add them to the File Library.
