CNJ 3-Chime whistle for AT&N Consolidation by Smokebox (mrennie)

Smokebox Consolidation CNJ 3-Chime.zip - 407 kb

Replaces the default Lunkenheimer hooter

I made this mod for the Smokebox AT&N Consolidation in answer to a special request from Christopher Hohman. It replaces the Lunkenheimer hooter with a very sweet-sounding 3-Chime whistle.
The whistle in the recording is of a replica Central RR of New Jersey (CNJ) 3 Chime, made by Bernie Perch for use on CNJ 0-6-0 No. 113, in Minersville, PA.
The original whistle is owned by a private individual today, and replica whistles are available for purchase through the restoration effort of CNJ 113 at http://www.rrproject113.org/#!company-store/c1ms6
The recording of the whistle is from June 5th, 2015, at about 170-180 psi, on No. 113. Recording by Chris Hohman
