EXCAVATOR DUTIES -- A SCENARIO FOR THE ALASKA RAILROAD ROUTE -- INSPIRED BY AN EPISODE OF THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL SERIES "RAILROAD ALASKA"

There has been lots of rain recently and preventative work on some rock faces close to the railroad is required to minimize the risk of potentially costly rockfalls
from obstructing the railroad, or worse.

Your job in this scenario is to drive an excavator from Whittier to Portage Snow siding in preparation for this preventative work.

Freeware Route: Altenburg - Wildau v3.12 [railsimulator.net]

(dont worry about the dependencies for Altenberg-Wildau as the route contains an asset folder required for the scenario, which can be extracted without installing the route)

Installation Instructions:

Download the zip for the Altenberg route, unzip to a folder.

rename "Altenburg - Wildau v3.12.rwp" to "Altenburg - Wildau v3.12.zip"

this will turn it into a zip file.

extract the zip and navigate to the Assets folder within

copy the SAD2011 folder and place it inside the Assets folder for your railworks install.

follow the installation instructions provided with those ;)

Unzip the scenario package, remember where you put it.

inside your railworks folder is a program called utilities.exe - run it.

go to the "package manager" tab and press install.

In the dialog box that pops up, find the unzipped scenario folder, select ExcavatorDuties.rwp and press open.

when the green bar is done, its installed.
