1 Introduction
This is a repaint of Digital Train Model's PRR ALCo FA/B-1 and -2 into New Haven colors. All four liveries are included in this add-on: Hunter Green & Gold Stripes, Hunter Green & Orange (only FA/B-1, no FB-2 in that livery), McGinnis, and the Alpert (Trustee) livery.
Credits:
Cesar Pach / Digital Train Model for the beautiful ALCo models and the kind permission to upload my repaints to RWA
Bob Jones, Phil Moberg, and Gary Dolzall for invaluable technical and historical advice concerning all kinds of NH related things
Mike Simpson for the repaint packaging tool included with RW Tools
2 Installation and System Requirements
Installation:
1. Download the RWP file and save it in a secure place on your hard disk – just in case you might have to reinstall the cars at a later time.
2. Now install the RWP file with Train Simulator's Package Manager. To access that tool, launch utilities.exe in the main Train Simulator installation folder.
3. Note: You can find utilities.exe by right clicking on the Train Simulator title in your Steam Library, selecting Properties, and then clicking the “Browse Local Content” button on the “Local Files” tab.
4. Once the Utilities are running, go to the Package Manager Tab, click the Install button, browse to the file from step one, click Open. Wait until the installation is complete, then continue with the steps below.
Copy the Geo files:
5. Navigate to the installation folder of the orignal PRR ALCo FA pack:
[path to Steam]\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\DTM\ALCo FA1-PRR
6. and from there, go into the subfolder: RailVehicles\Diesel\Engine
7. copy these two files: FA1_PRR.GeoPcDx, FB1_PRR.GeoPcDx
8. paste them into the four NH engine folders: RailVehicles\Diesel\Engine_NH-GreenGold, ..\Engine_NH-Hunter, ..\Engine_NH-McGinnis, ..\Engine_NH-Trustee
9. next, navigate into the subfolder: RailVehicles\Diesel\EngineFA2
10. copy this file: FB2_PRR.GeoPcDx
11. paste it into the four NH engine subfolders from step 8 above
You are now ready to use the engines in your scenarios.
