CPRail GP40-2 faded by Buzz Baxter (Buzz456 with suzukisk)
DTG GP40-2 in CPRail faded livery
You will need the DTG GP40-2Pack01 for this re-paint. Run the installer or drill down and place the folder in the indicated place. Then go into the UP engine and copy the GP40-2_UP.GeoPcDx and paste it into the CP_faded\Engine folder. This is set up to use the Searchlight Simulation LeslieAirChimeR-series RS3L_Ex-CR horn. If you don't want to use it just delete the Audio folder from the folder and it should go back to the default.
If you want the in cab look to be correct that is for the long and short hood to show up properly you will need to do the following:
It's not that hard. Go into the RailVehicles\CabView folder and find the EXTERIOR_UP.GeoPcDx for the model you used to do your re-paint. Copy that to your desktop or wherever and re-name it to CP_faded. and paste it back into the CabView folder. Now open the GeoPcDx file and change each of the texture lines from whatever it is to your repaint name only in the spot where I put \CP_faded\ in place of \UP\ for instance which is my original Geo. Note the second time in the line you leave alone.
There should be 12 places with different descriptions on the back end of the line such as the underframes and so forth.
Next copy the exterior_UP.bin folder copy it and rename it to your repaint (CP_faded) and paste it back in the CabView folder. Open it with RWTools and rename it at the top in those two lines to CP_faded .
Then go down to these two and change the name to like I did with the one for the CP_faded model.
This makes it now looking at your renamed GeoPcDx. It should show up properly from you cab views.
Enjoy,
