SD70ACe Pacific National Reskin - (Bekns)

SD70ACe Pacific National Reskin.zip - 11.5 MB

Pacific National is one of Australia's largest rail freight businesses

Description

SD70ACe Pacific National Reskin

Thank you for downloading my first attempt at a reskin.  Pacific National is one of Australia's largest rail freight businesses. Formed in February 2002 as a
joint venture between Patrick Corporation and Toll Holdings, which formed the holding company Asciano Limited. It is now a subsidiary of Australian Logistics
Acquisition Holdings Pty Limited, via Australian Logistics Acquisition Investments Pty Limited and Asciano Limited.

The SD70ACe is not a part of the Pacific National fleet but they are found on private railways in Australia such as those owned and operated by BHP mining
company.  As there is not any dedicated Australian locomotives in TS to date I figured this one was as good as any to make a Pacific National reskin on
primarily for my own route but as that is a long way off, I am releasing this reskin separately.

Requirements
-------------------------------

Optional
Searchlight Simulations 16N 710G3C II Sound Enhancement Pack
https://www.searchlight-simulations.com/16n-710g3c-ii

Installation
-------------------------------

There are 2 RWP files located in the zip file you have downloaded and assuming extracted as you are reading this file, one is for the standard SD70ACe and one
for the Searchlight Simulations enhanced SD70ACe. Please install the RWP file that correspondes to your TS installation using the TS Utilities program located
in your Railworks folder or if you are familiar with extracting the files yourself using your preferred extraction program please go ahead and do so.

Next go to RailWorks\Assets\RSC and double click the batch file named 'InstallMeSD70PN'.  This will copy the necessary geo files across and your reskin will be good to go.

If the batch file fails to install the geo files automatically please follow the instructions below

1. Go to RailWorks\Assets\RSC\SD70Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD70ACE\Default\Engine and copy the file SD70ACe_Default.GeoPcDx then go to
RailWorks\Assets\RSC\SD70Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD70ACE\PacificNational\Engine and paste the file there.

2. Go to E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\RSC\SD70Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD70ACE\Default\CabView and copy the file sd70cab.GeoPcDx the go to
RailWorks\Assets\RSC\SD70Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD70ACE\PacificNational\CabView and paste the file there.

Note: The cab veiw geo is needed as the speedo has been re-textured to readout in KPH along with a few other decals to make it feel more prototypical.

After either install method please clear the in game cache
