Here in Quebec we're pretty much entirely on hydro-electricity.

There is nothing quite as nice as sitting beside a coal fire on a freezing cold day - the warmth goes right through you quite unlike any other type of heating. Not to mention the wonderful sweet smell of a coal-fired steam loco!

Ooooh yeeeeah. That smell of a coal fire... there's nothing like it. We use wood here but atleast once a year I buy a sack of coal just for a treat. Instant childhood memory trigger of my birthdays on steam train rides.

Ah yeah, the smell of a steam loco. We also use close to entirely hydro-based electricity. We have 14 hydro, 2 wind, 1 coal/natural gas, 1 natural gas and 4 diesel power stations. The diesel power plants are off-grid, and the other wind and natural gas are mostly for small areas.
