It's a registry thing.I too,am using a gen.1 core i5 and don't have those settings,but I remember reading somewhere about the 2 keys that had to be changed.It has to do with core parking in the core i5's and 7's.A quick google search should come up with something.
@ Jack, I posted a link to my website for the core parking fix a page ago. @ Trevor, I'll wager you have a laptop, it's not gonna give you the same performance options as a desktop. But it looks like you are in High Performance mode.
Hey guy's, A couple weeks ago I found a small app. that fixes core parking without going into the registry.It's called Unpark Cpu.It got the job done for me,and there is no installation!
