Moscow Camden & San Augustine 1920 Route for RailWorks, Updated Version for Railworks 3 Train Sim 2012 by Michael Stephan - GreatNortherner

Description

MCSA-1920s

Moscow Camden & San Augustine 1920 Route for RailWorks, Updated Version for Railworks 3 Train Sim 2012 ======================================================================================================

A prototypical route, based on a 7-mile shortline serving a lumber mill in Camden, Texas, linking it with the Southern Pacific at Moscow, TX.

This stand-alone version has been backdated to a ficticious rendition of the 1920s, equipped with steam facilities and some scenery enhancements. It comes ready to run in the Train Sim 2012 environment with lights, track bumps and other small updates.

It will install as a seperate route, not overwriting the modern-day version of the MCSA, so you can use both.

This route comes ready to run with all required assets included. Two free roam scenarios are included, using only the default rolling stock from RailWorks.

Route built by Michael Stephan. Freeware.

Includes seven miles of woodland branchline trackage, a mainline interchange yard, and a lumber mill with an own small yard. Two depots and one flagstop are present on the shortline. There is a small roundhouse with steam facilities at Camden.

The route includes many interactive transfer points (bulk freight loader and unloader, several freight docks, and container cranes).

The route has been built with many "default" assets, however all 3rd party assets are included in the package, except for the ones from the UK Buildings Model Pack (free DLC on Steam) - see here for more info: http://www.railsimulator.com/productdetail.php?Ref=24086

Credits: ~~~~~~~~

>>> Richard Ham for the model, textures and sounds of the freight docks (the ones with the animated forklift!)

>>> James Friedland for the invisible freight transfers and his help with placing them

>>> Mike Simpson for the Log (Un-)Loader

>>> Jim Ward, James Friedland, Otto Wipfel, Tom Pallen for resucing the route many times during its construction

>>> All the many others who helped with the beta testing of the several previous versions

>>> RS.com for the rest of the many objects used

INSTALLATION: =============

Simply use the in-game package manager to install the RWP file that is included in this ZIP archive.

Make sure you have installed the UK Buildings Model Pack from Steam (free DLC). The route will work without it, but some scenery items will be missing. You can find more about it here: http://www.railsimulator.com/productdetail.php?Ref=24086
