SOO Old style GP9

Installation:

The SOO GP9_old repaint requires the purchase and installation of the Railworks GP9 DLC from the Steam store.

These skins/repaints for the GP9 install in a separate folder in the Railworks main directory under: \Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\

Download the .zip file to your computer. Once completed, find your downloaded file, and unzip it into a newly created folder with the name of the downloaded locomotive.

  1.Start Railworks and select the Package Manager tab.
  2.Click on install, then navigate to the folder where you unzipped these files.
  3.Select the .rwp file and click on open.
  4.The package Manager will then install your new locomotive.
  5.Verify that the file shows in the installed list on the left of the screen, then do the fiollowing:
      a.Copy GP9_01.GeoPcDx from \Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\Rock\Engine\ to \Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\SOO_old\Engine\
      b.Copy gp9_cab.GeoPcDx from \Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\Rock\CabView\ to \Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\SOO_old\Cabview\
  6.Start Railworks.
  7.Create or edit a scenario.
  8.Once the scenario editor opens:
   a.Click the left center flyout then click on the locomotive icon.    
   b.Click on the object filter (a small blue square with an orange triangle).
   c.A flyout on the right of the screen will open.
   d.Pull out the flyout and use the pulldown menu.
   e.Find and click on 'RSC'.
   f.Click on the the GP9Pack01 box making sure that it is checked.
   g.The locomotive will then appear in the list in the left center pullout as "EMD GP9 SOO old".
