RSC aren't doing so badly - after all, they are a United Kingdom based company rolling out US stock and routes to an ever higher standard. No, not every variation of a GP38-2 has been provided, but go and have a look at MSTS payware engines, and calculate up the number of years it has taken to get the large variation in models now available.
It would be good to have a few more US developers throwing their hats into the ring and producing quality US stock. I haven't seen many so far...Marc, Ian...a few more in the pipeline, but not in any quantity.
I echo the comment above - I wouldn't have believed how nostalgic a trip it would be driving a Geep 38-2 on the Marias Pass - takes me right back to the early days of MSTS.
Pretty good sounds compared with what I have been able to find on line, not all the variations, but good enough (rivet counting aside). Excellent work all round.
