It seems the Railways in the US are having a bad week. This is the second bad crash this week that's even made the news over here in the UK.

How can anyone be so stupid to continually to cross the rr track when a train is approaching is beyond me!

Can't really see good in the pictures, but the crossing maybe looked like a private crossing with not signals? but, wow what a wreck! glade no one was really hurt.

I think if you look closely you can see that the boxcar right behind the power is on the ground just before it leaves the frame. Possibly a piece of debris from the collision?
