Them BC Rail Cowls are actually C40-8Ms (Like the CN 24xx series), but them Canadian built suckers all look the same, with minor body differences. I'll take any cowl any day!

I've scraped together enough good catches the past 30 days or so to warrant a post, hope you like em! Brown season is here.... *!rolleyes!*

Indy Mac and Ex-SOO SD60 team up with CP's daily westbound auto train. CP 281; Pewaukee, Wisconsin; March 16th, 2013.
Image

UP's MSSPR (With BCOL 4622 in consist go figure!) slips through the cracks rolling east on the Milwaukee Sub. UP MSSPR; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; March 16th, 2013.
Image

A pair of "BlueBird" AC4400s are large and in charge of empty grain cars on the daily 499 train. CP 499; Duplainville, Wisconsin; March 19th, 2013.
Image

A nice NS SD60-SD70M combo work their manifest west along the CP Watertown Sub. CP 283; Nashotah, Wisconsin; March 23rd, 2013.
Image

Peering under the wheels of CEFX 1038 west at Nashotah! CP 499; Nashotah, Wisconsin; March 28th, 2013.
Image

With snow melted and brown season in full swing, I look for color wherever I can find it, and CP 6254 east provides some against the few colors available. CP 280; Pewaukee, Wisconsin; March 29th, 2013.
Image

Nicknamed "Aardvarks" for their long nose and weird design, CP's new GP20C-ECOs make a hop across the Menomonee River with general freight in tow. CP 282; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; March 29th, 2013.Image

Splitting the signals and leaving the small section of ABS on the "Cut-Off" that bypasses Muskego Yard, CP 2225 and company ease into the 10MPH trackage through the Amtrak depot. CP 282; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; March 29th, 2013.
Image

One of CSXs newer ES44AHs leads a loaded grainer east on a brown morning. CP 372; Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; March 30th, 2013.
Image

Six EMDs, clad in the gorgeous red and gray of the Wisconsin Southern, haul the Horicon-Janesville train along the CN. WSOR T004; Sussex, Wisconsin; March 30th, 2013.
Image

A pair of YN2 General Electrics head up empty grain as they meet loaded ethanol at Nashotah. CP 391; Nashotah, Wisconsin; March 30th, 2013.
Image

A bright shiny ex-Oakway SD60 heads up CN's daily Fond du Lac - BRC Clearing freight and brings a little color to the woods. CN A446; Colgate, Wisconsin; March 30th, 2013.
Image

Hogger Bill and Conductor Rob try to grab some ZZZ's as they wait to switch out Duplainville. They'd remain stuck behind a pile of trains for nearly an hour. CN L505; Duplainville, Wisconsin; April 2nd, 2013.
Image

A loaded whiskey train bears down on Milwaukee behind a trio of red EMDs. CP 640; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; April 2nd, 2013.
Image

The trio now slows into the 10MPH section through the Milwaukee Amtrak station, passing classic Cream City brick. CP 640; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; April 2nd, 2013.
Image

Engineer Jason is loving every second of his epic YN2 leader as he hammers CN's Fond du Lac - BRC freight down towards Slinger. Fun Fact: This is one of few units with plow cut for clearance on Metro North! CN A446; Slinger, Wisconsin; April 2nd, 2013.
Image

Just hours after being discharged from the hospital, I couldn't resist foaming it up when I learned CP's daily westbound auto train was led by a trio of DME 40's! CP 281; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; April 5th, 2013.
Image

13,400 horses charge west with a monster rack train. CP 281; Nashotah, Wisconsin; April 5th, 2013.
Image

An odd daylight run of the Janesville-Horicon train got me out on a cloudy day, but much to my surprise, I was met with sunshine as the train swung west after a trip north on CN. WSOR T003; Hartford, Wisconsin; April 7th, 2013.
Image

Loaded coal buckets have come a long way east, but now head west and north up into the heart of Wisconsin to power the Weston Plant in Wausau. UP CATWP; Lebanon, Wisconsin; April 7th, 2013.
Image

The Westbound Empire Builder pours it on doing all of the limited 79mph through the brown countryside. Amtrak 7; Ixonia, Wisconsin; April 7th, 2013.
Image

Bill and Rob are at it again! Waiting for dispatcher Dennis to allow them onto the mainline from the tie up track on a rainy, windy, and downright nasty night. CN L505; Waukesha, Wisconsin; April 9th, 2013.
Image

Note that any and all CP trains are examples of the variety that you can accurately run on my CP Watertown Route.....whenever I finally finish it *!embar*! *!rolleyes!* .......

They're allowed to do 79mph? Are you sure? Those locomotives can only do a maximum of 75mph.
