To be fair, the sound pack isn't at all resembling a GP38-2. GP38-2's are non-turbocharged, but have a roots blower, all of the sound pack "upgrades" are of turbocharged variations.

I only have the default BNSF H2 version which does not have upgraded lights and clear windows. could be possibly that the repaints are upgraded versions of the default?

I love the sound of non turbos sounds like a beast is inside.

Buzz, it looks like I missed the clear windows as I said I haven't used JCornell's geep in a while. It is still a great model no doubt, but a new GP38 model would still be nice. !*cheers*!

I thought the GP38-2 had a Roots blower on it at least some of them.

well i really would enjoy this, but seeing as we already have one and this one will be 20-25 dollars. Its just like everyone with the Old BN pack. We don't get any compinsation, but we do have to buy the new pack. !*not-ok*!

Does this change the way it looks, or only how it sounds? (speaking of the model)

the currently available gp38-2 isn't from RSC, its originally from JR and its a freeware model which I do believe is available in our file library correct?

That is correct. MadMike and I did several repaints and super detailed models.

I'll make sure things are right per-era and such. Just do your job and wait.

and variations .... or is this another ' one size fits all ' job ?

Not a shot a you BNSFdude , but after the last poor attempt at an SD40-2 for MP ( that's 3 tries from them so far since first release of RailSimulator >> and counting ) I doubt you guys will see anything close to what's available for either of the other games.

Good luck with that stick.

yes i know this. Im saying why is RSC making things we already have just slightly better, when people like me who i guess waste our money buying DLC that they either make new or never update and just take off. Its really ticking me off.

Have you people never listened to a Gp40-2 versus a GP38-2? It's a completely different sound.

Roots blown 645: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svvHbro_45k&sns=em

Turbo Charged 645: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FatYZDYeDDM&sns=em

Way different.

Anyways, I meant versatility. I don't know of any plans that RSC has for future locomotives or other paint schemes. As for the MP SD40-2s, trust me, it ticked me off the most, and I refuse to let it happen to these.
