New sounds

Unread postby buzz456 » Sun Apr 28, 2013 9:56 pm

Talked to Wally (Krellnut) for about a hour tonight. Have patience but new SD70 sounds and a new SD40 pack will be coming at you folks. More realism for the sim from our number one sound guy. !*brav*!

I just wish RSC would get their collective fingers out and release Mike's sound update to his wonderful Consolidation - they have only been sitting on it about 3 weeks

(good news about the too boxes I suppose *!lol!* )

!*cheers*!

The new SD70 sounds that Buzz mentioned will be the new default sound set in my 10-engine pack. The rest of the sets got some work done to them as well, I'm happy with the end result. The SD40 sounds I've had for a long time, just did nothing with it because Adain and Woody have a set already out. So this set is not meant to replace there's, rather work with it. With some editing one can have both sets for use. Will keep you posted.

I actually was working that day for the most part. In the picture above Bert and I were installing the new exhaust hatch with a cable actuated rain cover. When I get down there again and am not working hard being a brakeman, I'll take a picture or video of the results.
