I assure you I had couplers before release. Some files seem to be lost between RSC and Steam Occasionally, and it isn't their fault.
Btw, despite them being gone for a day, they were back as soon as possible, and they also do not stretch or compress. They have realistic slack now.

I find it amazing that some folks can get on here after being MIA for weeks, admit they haven't even bought the route in question, and then start complaining about RSC. The customer service from RSC and the response from the community is ample proof that this route is another large step forward for the company. There will always be something to complain about if that is one's only purpose, however I think this is a excellent addition to the sim and RSC should be congratulated.
Rant off.

I just finished taking the f40ph the whole length of the route and I have to say that this route is wonderful. It looks great and I don't see any major issues with it. I have to say it looks incredible considering the last time I got to drive anything on Marias it was a Dash 9 on MTS. I don't have money to burn by any means but when I look at the quality of this route and the amount of work that went into it then I am confident it was worth every dollar I spent on it.

Nevermind. Everything is fine from now on. I'll let someone else take the heat.

This is the story I had gotten, first off, the issue with the couplers was a result of a bug fix that was applied the night before release. As it turned out this "fix" inevitably caused even more issues, not seen until the release next day. Right after the release, Derek and the RSC crew began to identify, and correct the issue within about 24 hours of release. They had also fixed some other minor "graphical" issues seen on release. To me, as person who actually bought the route, I was pretty darn impressed with the turnaround. !!*ok*!!

I've played many games accross many mediums and I have hardly ever experienced a game/dlc that has not had a bug or two on release. We have it so lucky with RSC! Has anyone dealt with major game titles/companies when it comes to glitchs (Electronic Arts!!!)? These companies are multi-million to multi-billion dollar behamoths that seem to have the same issues RSC has on release. These "teething" problems on release are not just associated with RSC, they are indicative to the computer programing industry. RSC, while has its share of follies, tries to make good on most issues while others do not. *!!wink!!*

I have a question. Is it possible to drive 2 up steam BB, Chall and FEF on Maria Pass? or Do I need to have only BSNF Steam only?

Now now... no spanking allowed. Least I send my fleet of SP tunnel motors through Java.

Out of curiosity, has anybody noticed this?

2013-04-16_00009.jpg

It seems that some (or all, or maybe just the ES44, I'm not sure?) AI trains have their headlights "on", as in the beam lights up the ground, but the actual light on the engine isn't "on" (if that makes sense).

I've not seen this on other routes EXCEPT on my own engine when saving a scenario, exiting, and re-entering, which was easily solved by turning the headlights off and back on again.

Edit:

I also am not sure if it's just me, but I noticed a speed limit that didn't appear on the track guide HUD. It was right around Red Eagle. I only have this screenshot showing roughly where I had just passed it, but I realize that's not very helpful.

Yes. I have seen this on other engines as well. I suspect it is due to the light glow not being initialized properly (hard to tell since they obfuscate the LUA).
