We need some "Super Power" steam locos like the 4-8-4 Northern (read that C&O Greenbriar) (read that NYC Niagara). G-TraxSim pulled their SP&S Northern when Railworks4/TS2013 was released and RSC also pulled it from Steam Store at the same time. Is anyone working on this great 'age of steam' passenger workhorse? Dick is there one on the Britkits drawing board?

Well then, I need to learn locomotive building, don't I.

There are three "super power" steamers - a C&O Class H-8 'Alleghany' (2-6-6-6) and a C&O Class J-3 'Greenbrier' (4-8-4) and a C&O Class L-1 'Chessie' streamliner (4-6-4) - just awaiting my novice efforts. Ha, I wish!!!

There's Mrennie's steam locomotive building tutorial in Rolling Stock section.

I am actually working with Mike at learning how to build steam locomotives. It might take a while but there will be big steam locomotives.

I've begun work on a UP 4-8-4 Northern (like #844). It'll be even more detailed than the Consolidation.

Guys please keep in mind that locomotives take a long time to model. Please don't pester the modeler's for WIP shots or "Is it done yet?" questions.

I like your attitude and philosophy. Its fun when you do what you want to, then its not work!

I just hope that what you wants is what I wants. So far what you've done is perfectly satisfying my needs alright. Just keep on what you are doing.
