Blender for free
3D Crafter for $70 (maybe more now)
3D Studio Max about $2700

You will also need a graphics program, Photoshop or something of the like. There are free ones out there also.

Hi guys, great work on the asset project.

Is there any documentation with the assets, in particular the street lighting? I would like to know what the abbreviations stand for and if the lights are shadow casting.

Thanks.

I'm glad to hear you like the items. No documentation yet, but it's in the works. :D

The abreviations are for Metal Halide, Sodium, Mercury, etc., and you see the differences in the colors used. The lights do not cast shadows, however, as this tends to slow things down in the grand scheme of things.

Okay, thanks. I thought that was probably the meaning of the abbreviations, but just wanted to be sure before adding them to the route I am building.

Again, great work on the asset pack, it's proving invaluable. *!!wink!!*

That or somerthing else if you plan on making your own asset models. If you are not making your own models you just install the RCAP and use them in your route.
