Does anyone know how to add a picture to a route for the menu?

yes the new RW Tools does it just fine

its in RWT Help 4 pdf file

You will need to provide a suitable thumbnail picture from your route, you can do this by taking a screen
print of a suitable area in your route, and converting it to a 256*128 pixel picture. You then need to save this
picture as a .dds file which can be done by opening it in Paint Shop Pro or Adobe Photoshop etc and saving
it in the following format DXT1 ARGB with 6 mip maps. Name it after your route, e.g. Borders.dds and
save it in the folder RW_Tools\TempDDS. Make sure you have set up a PreLoad folder as on page 1.

its really very easy

Can you use this pic by copy and paste?

Or is it better for me to send you the full original one that RW pumps out?

Awesome. Cheers heaps Jason !!*ok*!! I can't find an option in RW_Tools to add a menu picture. Just a route loading picture. I've got version 4.0.14. To be honest, I don't think it's updated properly. There doesn't seem to be any difference from the older version. Might have to add the picture manually.

I got RW_Tools to work. Found the add thumbnail to route options. Followed instructions etc... It didn't save to my route preload folder, instead back into the TempDDS folder in RW_Tools. Do I have to create a PreLoad folder using RW_Tools? I just created one manually. !*don-know!*
