No it does not. I talked to Reppo about the demos and he said that the livery and scenario for the demos was pulled at the last second. He did not state why, but he does expect to see them offered at a later date, and to be at a lower price to reflect the fact that the pack will probably not include all that was in this pack. Hope this helps! !*salute*!

I'll second that! I haven't heard a 608-powered locomotive in since I graduated high school in '71, and I thought I'd never hear that sound again. It's also the nicest rendition of Baldwin's "babyface" cab end I've seen, either in virtual reality or scale models. This one is definitely on my Christmas list.

BTW, there were a lot of interesting 608-powered roadswitchers out there, and if memory serves, they weren't just limited to the northeastern railroads. I hope this is the start of a series Baldwin diesels.

Well, the hype over the Baldwin Centipede was well founded. Fantasic sounds, nice graphics, really good cold start procedure. Like the alerters despite printing and reading the paperwork i was caught out on the battery alerter and pannicked, just found it in time , really good stuff. i hope it gets some use with the many outstanding scenario makers we have here. Thanks to all involved . Pete

So after making 16 dollars in tips today I decided to take the plunge and buy the centipede! It is a great DLC and I have only played with the loco for about 15 minutes. Tonight if my GF approves I will play with it a bit more...gotta keep the woman happy. !**duh*!!

Someone said UP Turbines? ..:)

Oh no, as all others here I thought myself not buy this, but seen the video here...the full working cab...the sound...oh my holy mackerel.. !DUH!
Bad thing is, that last RSC saving time on Steam almost ruined my account...and then the Centipede is here, dern!.. *!greengrin!*

Now I wish Reppo make other first generation cab units, but please don't release them in times before Christmas or my GF birthday.. !*hp*!

Highly unlikely to remake the models man. It's a waste of resources and time when he could be making something else that IS likely to be a good seller. An E9 would be pretty likely though, as if I recall correctly, Pennsy had some E units as well. ;)

Wouldn't it be nice to have Alco's early diesels, such as the RS-1, done in this kind of detail?!

Here is my wish list, inspired by the routes currently available to us:

Iconic first generation Diesels, the ALCo FA has already been done, BTW, for RW2.

ALCo PA's for ATSF, PRR, UP and SP:
Image
ImageIMO the best looking passenger Diesel of all. Notice the ATC pickup on the third axle, meaning this engine was allowed 100 MpH, just like 2928 below.
Baldwin DR 6-4-20 "Passenger Shark"and DR 4-4-15/RF16 "Freight Shark" for PRR:
Image
FM TrainMasters for PRR and SP:

Steam engines
PRR: M, I and J class, also with their late steam long distance "Lines West" tenders:
ATSF: 4-8-4's and 2-10-4's, preferably late steam version to run alongside first generation F and GP units.
Image 3751, still running today, here over Cajon Pass
ImagePassenger locos with roller bearing side rods preferably like "war baby" 2928, from the heaviest class of all Northerns (don't know if this hotlink works for all of you)
ImageSanta Fe's 2-10-4 leased to the PRR
UP: FEF 4-8-4's and perhaps that 4-12-2 as well.
plus some smaller 4-6-2, 2-8-2 of generic late steam rebuilt/modernized versions.

For the COARW:
Greenbrier 4-8-4 and Allegheny 2-6-6-6 will cover almost all asignments over Tori's route.

One can always dream, can't we?

Thank for the suggestions guys, very useful.

What about these two:

GE U36B and EMD GP20?

I think they are old machines as well.
