Here is my wish list, inspired by the routes currently available to us:
Iconic first generation Diesels, the ALCo FA has already been done, BTW, for RW2.
ALCo PA's for ATSF, PRR, UP and SP:
IMO the best looking passenger Diesel of all. Notice the ATC pickup on the third axle, meaning this engine was allowed 100 MpH, just like 2928 below.
Baldwin DR 6-4-20 "Passenger Shark"and DR 4-4-15/RF16 "Freight Shark" for PRR:
FM TrainMasters for PRR and SP:
Steam engines
PRR: M, I and J class, also with their late steam long distance "Lines West" tenders:
ATSF: 4-8-4's and 2-10-4's, preferably late steam version to run alongside first generation F and GP units.
3751, still running today, here over Cajon Pass
Passenger locos with roller bearing side rods preferably like "war baby" 2928, from the heaviest class of all Northerns (don't know if this hotlink works for all of you)
Santa Fe's 2-10-4 leased to the PRR
UP: FEF 4-8-4's and perhaps that 4-12-2 as well.
plus some smaller 4-6-2, 2-8-2 of generic late steam rebuilt/modernized versions.
For the COARW:
Greenbrier 4-8-4 and Allegheny 2-6-6-6 will cover almost all asignments over Tori's route.
One can always dream, can't we?
