I took a short break from Railworks and now I'm back up and running. Right now I am making a video showing the track that SJVR operates on going from Oil JCT to BNSF Bakersfield yard.

Well I ran into a problem I converted the radio chatter (.mp3) into a .dav file using davdecoder it looked like it worked but when i get into the cab of the ES44 it SBHH's.
Is it to long? or did i convert it wrong?

You could have simply changes the alias to look for a .wav and converted to a wav

well its a .dav but i converted it from a .mp3 should it have been a .wav

Is it in stereo or mono? I believe it should be mono.

Having the file be mono (from my experience) will alow the doppler effect to occur, so i left it as stereo as the doppler effect will not be needed in the cab.

This will later work well in your 1970's version of the route. This is going to be a 1965 Peterbilt highrail crane. A mow vehicle with cab when it's done.

I want this to be freeware when I'm done with it. After that I'll build you some cars and trucks from the 70's and 60's.

It still crashes i think it may be too long of a file to be converted into .dav

Maybe it has to be mono for the cab radio instead of stereo.

Half hour is too long. Try 15 mins?

Not trying to be mean here, but that video was pretty dry. Not much to look at scenery wise and especially in cab view. Just lots of tracks and some cars here and there. No way I could watch the whole 30 min video of that. Thank goodness Youtube has the video preview in the progress bar to find that out ahead of time. 5 min tops is all you needed. I'd wait until you have more track side scenery to make it far more interesting. And again.... not 30 mins worth. Too long!! Just some friendly advice.

I'm looking forward to your route. It might not be the best route scenery-wise compared to other famous routes, but it has a special place in my heart from my childhood. *!greengrin!*
