Yeah, I don't really know why most commands for the Set-Launch-Options start with a "-", but for some reason the EnableAsyncKeys there doesn't use it. But hey, as long as it works right? Anyways, glad it was of help to you guys.
Cheers! !*cheers*!

Wonder if Multi Core will work that way?

Multicore is set to on if you have a multicore processor. Run TS in windowed, then have task manager.

You can run Task Manager right on top of full screen RW. BUT, if you have an i5 or an i7, "Core Parking" may be enabled which will lock out 3 cores. Article from my website about it: http://www.abithelp.com/post14505.html#p14505

I have installed the utility that blocks core parking and was using it happily with TS 2012. Since TS 2013 came on the scene, I haven't unparked the cores because 2013 seems to do that all by its lonesome (a bow to Walt Kelly). I discovered that one day while running 2013 windowed: I could see the desktop gadget that displays core activity and all cores were in action.

My understanding is that 2013 already supports multicore processors without needing any special commands from the user.

According to the system requirements:
Processor: 2.8 GHz Core 2 Duo (3.2 GHz Core 2 Duo recommended), AMD Athlon MP (multiprocessor variant or comparable processors)

Crimson, the article I linked to is about how Intel "parks" Several cores on the i5 and i7 CPU's. It's not a RW thing. This will affect any game or program. The fact RW now supports multi core is really great! But you should still run that little utility (if you have an i5 or i7) and tell Intel to get stuffed. !!bang!!

Sorry, I should have made it a little more clear that one doesn't need to put any commands in the launch options for 2013 to use multi core processors. I am aware that those with i5s and i7s should still run the utility you linked.

Here's another improvement I've noticed: using Shift-Tab to switch from RW to another running program or to the desktop sometimes caused previous versions of RW to crash, but now Shift-Tab does not cause problems ... I can even put my computer into suspension and RW is there waiting when I reactivate Windows. This allows me to alternate between work and diversion more easily. (I use the term "work" very loosely.)

Yes, I have noticed the more robust memory management of TS2013 as well. On my 4GB machine it churns away for several minutes sometimes when I have more than one program on the task bar and switch back and forth between them. Editing large xml files consumes lots of memory with Ultra Edit and eats away the free RAM, forcing other applications into the virtual memory

TS2013 or rather the video card driver is still susceptible to causing crashes with those vertex shader messages if the screen resolution has been changed after waking from sleep or hibernation.
I use a KVM switch to switch between work and play, i.e. use more than one computer with the same keyboard, monitor and mouse. When switching away from a paused TS2013 the KVM looses interest in its computer after 30 minutes or so and reverts to its default resolution. When I then switch back to the paused TS2013 it crashes because the screen resolution has changed. USB audio also becomes disconnected. Not TS2013's fault, but rather a hardware/driver issue.

Chris:

I just ran the utility but Task Manager still shows 4 cores as being "parked". I selected "High Performance" and ticked the "Enabled" radio buttons. Clicked "Apply", "OK" and re-booted. What did I miss?

Thanks

Chris, make sure that boxes are showing 100 (instead of 50). You don't need to reboot the pc.

Cheers,

Thanks Doc. Unfortunately no success. I've attached some screenshots to show the process. Still have 4 cores that are parked after applying the program. My processor is an i7.

OK, start RW or another program that you know uses more than one core. Then bring up Task Manager. See what it's showing. You can even run more than one program to check it out. You have everything set right, the CPU may just being not used.
