Its a load of bolony for the new ts2013 users..

I believe what they said was that legacy core assets would be available for download to new users of TS2013 and that legacy routes would be available as purchased DLC. Arguably this implies that the legacy assets would be available at no charge, but they never actually stated this - at least not that I recall.

That's for new users of 2013. For all of us here, what they have said is we keep our old assets and the game itself is upgraded to 2013.

Just want to note that, in addition to all the other nonsense that permeates this thread, the US Community Asset Pack is nothing new. Rather, it was released October 1, 2009, as anyone who bothered to look it up on Steam would know. Once again, a thread that is Much Ado about Nothing, but I'm sure we'll be seeing megatons of that after today. This forum and all others related to RW should have a dedicated "Rumor Mill" section ... perhaps it could also be called "The Back Fence"? !*YAAA*! !!howdy!! !!jabber!!

P.S.: see this page ... http://www.engine-driver.com/2012/09/team-tuesday-train-simulator-2013-what.html

FWIW, the date comes from the approximate time when Railworks appeared on Steam. I believe these assets have never been a separate item until this week.

If you look in your Steam downloaded content you will notice that your folder now has the euro and us packs added to it.
Nothing to worry about.

I verified the DLC through the steam properties and everything Ihad bought in the past is there. I did but the upgrade under the miss conception that the Sherman Hill route was included. I did the transaction two days ago. I bet I have to pay extra for Sherman Hill.

My DLC list includes Sherman Hill which obviously I do not have yet so I take comfort that things past and future seem to be in place for the upgrade

So let me get this straight - and i'm sure someone will set me straight if i'm mistaken on this...

My route, the NSAND, is a freeware route, based on assets provided within Railworks over the last few years. For new users (Post September 20) of TrainSimulator going forward though, my route will now be Payware because they will have to buy the US and European asset packs that are no longer provided with the new version of the Game? Payware, with the proceeds going to RSC?
