The funny thing is that they say this comes free of charge with a number of addons and the NEC is one of them and that is a default route in ts 2013

Maybe NEC will only be included with the pre-release deal? !**conf**!

They have repeatedly said this will not happen.

I suppose they will have a UK asset pack and a German Asset pack? I know I used assorted items from all of them on the NERW route. I also have read in many places that us who own already have Railworks will not lose anything. As for new user the way I see it is they will be buying routes and that is a big list of them that will also provide the assets they are selling seperately. Buy a route and get the Asset package for free. Thats not so bad.

They won't even let me buy TS2013! It says I already own it. I'm Searching my HDD now! !*roll-laugh*!

It's about time they did that. Those are two good routes that I enjoyed before the TS2012 upgrade. Since then I haven't been able to run them properly and they have all kinds of graphic glitches. Also they were made for RS and they are just not up to par. I wouldn't be happy if I had just paid 25$ for those routes.

I read at UKTS they are being rebranded and will be back. I assume rebranded means TS2013 compatable...

I also just checked out the DLC page further and there is a European Asset package for sale also, but to get it and the US package all you need to do is buy Ohio Rails 2 or any of the other Allaboard routes and you get both asset packages because those routes require them.

Further exploring under the Train Simulator 2012 properties of DLC shows I already own the US and European Asset packages. No worries eh?

The way it looks to me, only first time buyers of TS2013 Deluxe would need to buy this to use certain third party content. Like you pointed out, almost any 2012 route purchased from Steam has the pack included. Not so bad.

What's weird now is I was going to buy the TS2013 discounted deal tonight and Steam will not let me, saying I already own it! !**duh*!!

This is what I wanted to see:

If you believe you require the US Community Asset Pack, please note that it is included free of charge with the following add-ons: Cajon Pass, ...

This tells me that if you need Kuju US for your route, then this pack should do the trick. Now we need someone to test this theory out on NSAND.
