Thanks for the info Hawk. I did know that, but when I enter the correct billing adres Steam does not accept it. Seems you have to make a purchase from your home country and can not buy anything when abroad.

Also tried using paypal, no go either.

Guess only couch potatoes are welkom to give money to Steam *!sad!*

IP has to match the billing country for your credit card*. If you travel a lot, submit a ticket to Steam Support, they can remove the "lock" on your account and allow you to buy in any country.


* they see your account being used hundreds or thousands miles away from home. Assume it's hacked. Stupid security features...

That's right, I forgot about Steam Guard. I think you can shut it off, not sure how tho. !*don-know!*
