The Lehigh Valley unit went back into the paint booth. Now it really looks like a LV unit!

Here's a before shot for comparison:

And in comparison to a LV ALCo C-628:

Very nice. Much better than the original. They REALLY should fix the CR unit now.

Plans are to fix the CR unit soon when it's close to a paint shop. Altoona (Juniata) or Chattanooga.

Correct number font on the numbers under the cab windows.

I think they also said something about the Conrail name was incorrect the way it's on the nose.
I'm planning on updating the LV unit but let's wait till this big service pack thing gets past. *!rolleyes!*

Expect the Monongahela unit to be released from Chattanooga on Saturday.
TRAINS News Wire wrote:Norfolk Southern’s Chattanooga, Tenn., paint shop is scheduled to release the Monongahela heritage ES44AC No. 8025 this Saturday, which is the last GE locomotive scheduled to be repainted in heritage colors.

After this weekend, 14 of the 20 heritage locomotives will have been released, leaving only six SD70ACe’s to ship from Muncie. Norfolk Southern plans to ship the final EMDs directly from Muncie to its yard in Linwood, N.C., to prep the locomotives for the gathering of all 20 heritage units at the North Carolina Transportation Museum on July 3 and 4

New York Central / Savannah and Atlanta / Pennsylvania heritage units plus a DODX flatcar with tanks in Enola Yard in Enola, PA. That's hard to beat.

Train is 11R (Binghamton, NY - Linwood, NC). NS is staging the heritage units in Linwood Yard for the Spencer event.

Man that paint scheme is just depressing. :D *!lol!*

And no it's not black. The frame is Black, but everything else is Brunswick Green. 1 part Green to 9 parts Black.
