Hi,

I want to install the SD75 K5LA horn into the default ES44AC loco, the SD75 files come as WAV files will these work as the horn files in railworks are in DAV,

Am i right that i will have to change all the SD75 lines to ES44AC in the SD70 Horn Proxyxml file?

Any help will be appreciated as i am trying to learn what i can about these audio files,

Thanks,

Roger.

Thanks for these horn sounds; they are excellent. :D

Have you been able to get any decent recordings of a SD70ACe/M-2 K5LLA? I finally just put the K5LA here on my ACes because I can't stand that air leak sound of the default horn. *!sad!*

[edit] I've tried making my own K5LLA with moderate success, but it just isn't "there" like your horns are. *!!wink!!*

Note: For Windows

1: Unzip the files from the .rar file that you downloaded and put them in a new file, somewhere you can find easily. If you create a new file, open it, and place it next to the 7zip (I use 7zip, I assume it works the same with WinRar) window, you can simply select the 5 files in the .rar and drag them into the folder and it will work just fine.

2: Minimize the screen with the new files (close out of the .rar since you moved them), and open another window and find your Railworks>Assets>RSC>SD75Pack01>Audio>RailVehicles>Diesel>SD75>Cab

3: Start by copying the three audio files into the Cab folder.

4: Copy the proxy something-or-other file into the Cab folder. It will ask if you want to replace it, click replace and you should be good to go.

If you have anymore questions, just ask! Hope this helps! *&!welcome!&*
