Thanks for the compliments y'all. Decals took a dump again. Anyone know of an easy way to rename a series of files?

Nah, the route is still fine, it just for some strange reason decides it doesn't like the decals after a while, so I rename the decal files, go in and delete all the milk bottles, and continue working. Also thinking about trying to get into modelling some buildings so I don't have to ask people to do it for me. That's a big challenge though, and for now, life is frustrating enough, and I don't have time to learn a whole new skillset. Also, painting a GEVo is harder than I thought.

Currently I'm using this freeware: FilenameFix
http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/Fil ... -Fix.shtml

There are many others though payware (free test): MultiRenamer, Batch File Rename etc.

Thanks Machinist. Got things worked out. Just had to redo some decals again. Got mad at it and painted up an IC SD40-3 to work the local jobs on the CN. (They commonly use IC 6201-6204 for locals and rock/sand trains, with an IC GP40R, and some miscellaneous CN geeps around here). Planning on finishing this one up and doing 6202, 6203, and 6204.

Well, for starters you can download the freeware Google Sketchup and try to make something in it. I use Google Sketchup to build my items and then when I finish them I export them out of the program. Also, I've placed a guide to creating buildings in google sketchup here in the misk section.

Nope, not dead. Just nothing worth showing as of late, reality has slowed work, but it's still being worked on! Mostly track work west of Pewaukee right now, also the CN north of Duplainville is under construction.

Got a little bit of work to show for these past months. Not much, but hey, progress is progress.

Florida St, where the main and yard split, track to the yard to the left, mainline through the depot on the right. The Lonestar Elevator spur can be seen in the upper left.

A Hiawatha Service (known as a "Scoot") train heads towards Menomonee Bridge

CP 182 pops out the east end of the yard to do work.

182 heads up "The Wash" (named for Washington Ave. which it crosses over further south)

Some more progress.

Got most waterways in the city laid out. Freeways are gonna be a challenge. Tracks on the bottom left run through the depot, which I'll have to either improvise, bribe someone to build, or go crazy trying to build myself. The east end of Muskego yard can be seen on the right hand side, and the spur track in the middle is the "Lonestar Spur".

The east end of Muskego Yard.

Washington Ave. area, UP on the bottom (former CNW passenger Main, now industrial trackage)

UP's Marsh Job and CP 281 on the Wash.

Another view of the east end.

Flipped on TSX to shoot 182 ambling through the yard. Lotsa work left to do...but hey...it's progress!

Any pictures of the depot. I might build it if you have any.
