swapping rolling stock?

when i swap my rolling stock for example i repaint my ES44AC. and the game says it's black. if i repaint it will that mess up the scenario it is in? or the work order? cause i have seen some really nice repaints for engines on here but wasn't sure if i should do it. cause i would also like to do the ai trains to.

Nope, repaints will not mess up scenarios at all, nor work orders. Sometimes swapping a locomotive for a different type or rolling stock for me anyways has messed up a scenario. Your mileage may vary.

oh ok thanks. so even on the part where ya pick the scenario and it says black. thats still the same but the engine will be the paint you chose?

No, it should change and say the repaint you did to that black locomotive. Unless, like me, you didn't put all the folders where they should be

i have done that befor. any way thanks for the help sir. i think i will start repainting player locomotives and the ai now would it matter that im not useing bsnf or union pacific on the sanbernadino-barstow route? cause i think thats who runs in california. cause i see penn centrel and stuff like that i like for the sd40-2. like i say i would also like to do the ai locos in differrent liverys as well.
