Rich. I uploaded my last patch. Fixed the roof. I wish I could make them more glossy without taking away from the quality of the skins.
Greg. Thanks for the pic of the PRR rear. That's in the patch.
pschlik. That NS loco was from the Digirails Forums. I think.
imnew. I think you're my biggest fan! Glad you like these. Yes I do sleep. Lehigh loco didn't take that long to do.
Arctic. You're my biggest fan that followed from another sim site. *!!wink!!* Anyone can skin with practice. I wish I was better. I'm always learning. I started out painting for aircraft sims in 98. Some of you might know me as Musicman. :D I look at things as a challenge and I'm never happy. They can always look better you just get to that point and say that's enough. I've used that phrase for myself when I've painted real cars and big rigs. You get to that point. "That's enough". *!lol!* Oh well. It's all in the fun. !!*ok*!!
Lehigh Valley is also sent in to Hawk. Might be my last one. I don't have any plans on painting SD70's. Any takers?
I still have a leftover Erie and Erie Lackawanna if anybody wants them. They could be put up as wanna be's?
It you're on Facebook. Here's good way to keep up with the Heritage units. https://www.facebook.com/pages/NS-Herit ... 6022543118

Awesome job on the repaints Xdriver, I love what you did with them.

I'm having an issue with the PRR Brunswick Green though, when I extract it, I get an error from TS2012 package manager (error pictured below)

I would have PM'd you instead but apparently there is no way to do that. I'd rather not clutter up this thread

You should read the forum Rules and Guidelines. The reason you couldn't PM him is explained there, as well as other useful info about the forum.

Those files were accidentally left in there. I used them for my skinning purposes.
The ones in that list,(tho hard to see from the pic above), can be deleted. I didn't think there would be any issues with them in there.
I do that with all my skinning projects. It doesn't hurt to have them there. Like I said. I just forgot to delete them before I packed it up. !*don-know!*

I personally don't like how they did the stripes on the new NS NS heritage. I would lower them or narrow them down so at least they will still be centered. The spots I don't like are circled. Just not right to me. !*don-know!*

Got the logo done anyway. Still needs touched up. You have to realize it will be 100 times smaller when I put it on. :D

XDriver

I have got to say that I have not had much interest in downloading stuff for RW as of late. Not that we don't have many talented re painters around this group. Just with everything going on outside of trains in my life right now I have had little time or interest. I must say though that these NS units that you have put out in record time are superb. For a railroad that until now has had some of the most plain looking units you have done a wonderful job in capturing these works of art in the virtual world. For anyone that has not checked these out yet, go for it. They look awesome on HSC and really add color and style to your consists. Again, super nice job sir and thanks for sharing your work.

No worries Joe. These are awesome and for sure not too clean. I would think the crews running the real units had best look after them. No empty coffee cups all over the inside of the cabs. As an EMD man I can't wait to see what the SD70s look like.

I stated somewhere else that I hope somebody takes on the EMD's instead of me. I have no desire to do those. Matter of fact I think this is the last one I plan on doing. Getting the roof all black was more than I felt like dealing with. I actually changed the design of the loco it's self to get the colors to work that wanted to mirror themselves. I've only been working on it a little at a time. Been busy with other things.
All that's left is to get the black pin stripes down and it's done. She won't be the prettiest gal on the block I'm afraid.

Heh, y'know, I think this unit actually looks better without the stripes.
